Julianne Boese

Julianne Mary (Mitchell) Boese, age 83, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Evergreen Manor. She was born on February 7, 1940, to the late Elizabeth Rose (Mulchaey) and James Foster Mitchell in Oshkosh. Julianne married Richard Charles “Dick” Boese on October 5, 1963 and their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Elizabeth and Tracy. He preceded her in death.

She loved spending time, especially holidays and particularly Halloween, and Christmas with grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. Julie enjoyed life with lots of humor and sass.

She is lovingly survived by daughters: Elizabeth (John) Zink, and Tracy (Mike) McCain; grandchildren: Amber Versteegh, William Zink, Austin (Rebecca) McCain, Seana (Mitchell)Beck, and Mitchell McCain (Maggie Snuggs); great-grandchildren: Peyton Zink, Brianna, and Emma Versteegh, Jaxson and Sadie McCain, Sean Beck; sibling Charles B. Mitchell. She is further survived by sisters-and-brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Per Julie’s wishes, a private service will be held by the family.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for the Oshkosh Area Humane Society in Julie’s name.
