June Elizabeth Plier

June E. Plier, 89, of Oshkosh died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Aurora Medical Center. She was born June 3, 1923 in Oshkosh a daughter of Adam and Elizabeth Lautenschlager. June married John R. Plier on October 5, 1946, and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2000. She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church and had worked several years at Miles Kimball Co. June is survived by a son, John T. (Jennifer) Plier of Green Bay; a brother, Fritz Lautenschlager of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, John (Erin) Plier, Adam Plier, Robert Plier, Daniel Plier, James Plier, and Anna Plier; and two great-grandchildren, Raven and Sydnie Plier. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. A funeral service for June will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Rev. Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
