Justin E. Boyce - died on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Omro Care Center after a two-year battle with lung cancer.Justin was born on December 6, 1926 in Oshkosh, the son of the late Joe & Ellen Molash Boyce. On August 27, 1949 he married the love of his life Marie Ulrich and August 18, 1984 he lost her to cancer.He proudly served his country during World War II and returned home to work at the Soo Line Railroad and then as a supervisor at Rockwell International until his retirement.He enjoyed bowling with his wife and their good friends the Zanders. He enjoyed pleasure boating on Lake Winnebago and also loved to fish - summer and winter. Many good times were spent taking the snowmobiles out on the lake and ice fishing in the shack. He was always cooking something in his kitchen. He loved to bake and always seemed to have something for you to taste. He loved his sweets. He became the familys food critic.He also enjoyed his trips to the casino with friends, Shirley, Jim and Jackie.Justin is survived by his three sons - Gary (Barb) Boyce, Gene Boyce, Jeff (Sharon) Boyce all of Oshkosh and one daughter, Cheryl (John) Krause of Pickett. He has two brothers James (Jackie) Boyce and Mike (Gen) Boyce and one sister, Jane (Bob) Stenerson all of Oshkosh and one sister-in-law Liz Boyce.He has five grandchildren Chad (Heather) Krause of Omro, Robin (Dan) Washkoviak of Janesville, Jennifer (Larry) Mroczkowski of Phoenix, Meagan Krause and Emily Boyce of Oshkosh. He also has four great grandchildren, Noelle and Reid Washkoviak and Tessia and Abigail Mroczkowski.He was preceded in death by two brothers Joe and Pat Boyce and a sister-in-law Vi Boyce. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church (519 Knapp St.) at 11:00 am with Fr. William Van De Kreke officiating. Visitation 9:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral Mass following. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.Our family would like to thank Dr. Klinkhammer, his staff and the staff at the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center for the care given to our Dad.
