Karen May Kentopp

Karen M. Kentopp,81, passed away on March 4, 2025. She was born to the late Edward and Mildred (Horton) Buhrow on December 31, 1943.

Karen married Robert Kentopp on October 21, 1961 in Oshkosh. She was employed at American Optical, Mundl Shoes, Standard Coalsman, and Square D. Karen enjoyed camping, playing cribbage at the senior center, going for swims at Evergreen Retirement Community and playing Rummy 500. She enjoyed traveling with Rosemary and loved most of all spending time with family and her cat Maggie.

Karen will be dearly missed by her children; Chris Kentopp, Joe (Annie) Kentopp and Lisa (Larry) Bauknecht, grandchildren; Nick (Leigha) Jolin, Karenna (Alex) Kelly, Martin (Haylee) Kentopp, great grandchild Paislee, along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter in law Charlotte Kentopp, grandchild Chad Jolin, brothers; Roy, Roger, Dale and Dave Buhrow; sisters Ruth Burmeister, Phyllis Vilwock, and Patricia Schultz along with her beloved dogs Roscoe and Abby.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 7,2025 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive Oshkosh beginning at noon. A time of visitation will be held from 10am until the time of service

A memorial has been established.
