Kathleen C. Dedow

Kathleen “Kathy” C. Dedow, age 54 of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023. She was born in Oshkosh on March 6, 1968 to the late Wesley and Dorothy (Wren) Courtois. After meeting at a bowling, Kathy started dating Matthew Dedow on Easter Sunday of 1994. They got married in Las Vegas on March 27, 1997.

Kathy had a smile that would light up any room she entered. For over 30 years, she could be counted on to greet you with her infectious smile at Camera Casino where she worked as the assistant manager.

She enjoyed spending time with her Evil Roy Slades family, watching sports and reading. Anybody that knew her, knew she was a stickler for grammar; she dreamt of the day every person would know the difference between to, two, and too!

Kathy is survived by her husband of 25 years, Matthew Dedow; stepson, Anthony (Gina) Dedow; siblings: Mary Courtois, Dave Courtois, Rich (Debbie) Courtois and Anne (Bill) Monroe. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Courtois.

A celebration of life for Kathy will be held at a later date.
