Kathleen "Kathy" A. (Baumann) Taplin

Kathleen A. (Baumann) Taplin, age 71 passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. She was born on September 4, 1951 to the late Joseph and Jeanette (Andresen) Baumann.

Kathleen held several jobs throughout life. She worked at Miller Electric, Plexus, and in the Shopko garden center. For many years she ran a daycare where she took care of many children who she loved as her own.

Kathleen enjoyed bowling, cookouts with family and friends, NASCAR, and most of all gardening and growing all of her plants and teaching others about plants.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette and Laci Taplin, as well as their father, Jim Taplin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Baumann.

A memorial service for Kathleen will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Appleton Highland Memorial Park chapel, 3131 N Richmond St. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Entombment will take place immediately after.
