Kathleen Lenora Grant

Kathleen L. Kate Grant, 82, of Oshkosh, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation. She was born on June 21, 1929 in Oshkosh the daughter of Owen and Emma Ruhl Augsburger Sr. On November 9, 1946 she married Lowell Tuffy Grant in Omro. Tuffy preceded her in death on April 25, 1994. Kate enjoyed reading historical romance novels, doing puzzles, and had quilted at Calvary Lutheran Church.Survivors include her daughters, Carleen Kleinschmit of Oshkosh, Lynn (Owen) Owens of Oshkosh, Kathy (Gary) Kettenhoven of Oshkosh, Debra (Wesley) Haug of Omro, Sandra (Steven) Krukow of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Craig and Chad Owens, Amber, Lynn, and Jason Kettenhoven, Scott and Tammy Werner, Kyle, Adam, and Grady Krukow; and eleven great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Owen Bud (Ann) Augsburger Jr. of Neshkoro; and a sister, Elaine Hansen of Waupaca. Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother; and a great granddaughter, Sommer Owens.The funeral service will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.The family would like to thank Aurora Hospice and a special thank you to Donna Altepeter for all of her compassion and support.
