Kathryn Ann Zink

Kathryn A. Zink, age 76 of Oshkosh passed away on Thursday September 29, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center.She was born in Fargo, North Dakota on January 29, 1935 a daughter of the late Martin and Eleanor Finch Arneson. She married John Zink on January 23, 1971 in Oshkosh.Kathy was a member of St. Andrew Ev. Lutheran Church and retired as dental receptionist for Mitchell Dental Associates. She was a long time volunteer for the American Red Cross. Kathy enjoyed knitting, reading and watching the birds in her yard.Survivors include her husband John Zink of Oshkosh; three sons, Gregg Schwab, New Berlin; John (Beth) Zink, Oshkosh; James (T.J.) Zink, Fort Atkinson; four daughters, Judy (Glenn) Hillegas, San Diego, CA; Debra (Mark) Ziesemer, West Bend; Christine (Carey) Hargett, Centreville, MD; Mary Venable, Phoenix, AZ; one brother, David (Mona) Arneson, Madison; one sister, Egorda Kolpin, Berlin; fourteen grandchildren, Christopher and Jonathon Schwab, Amber, William, Sky, Star and River Zink, Leann and Gabe Hillegas, Matthew and Jenna Ziesemer, Shantay and Christian Hargett and Ashley Alves; and 1 great grandchild, Peyton Zink. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marlene Nagel and Eleanor Bisek.Funeral services will be held at St. Andrew Ev. Lutheran Church (1100 E. Murdock Ave.) on Monday October 3, 2011 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Karen Jewel officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 4:00 PM to the time of service. Burial will be at Burdick Union Cemetery (Liberty School Road, Town of Rushford). A memorial is being established.
