Kathryn M. (Price) Ranieri, passed away on April 12, 2014 at Century Oaks Assisted Living. She was born August 22, 1920 in Oshkosh, WI; the daughter of Butch and Mayme Price. She was married to Louis Ranieri in Chicago, IL in 1955.Kay graduated from Oshkosh high school in January of 1939. She was a member at St. Raphael the Archangel Church; a volunteer for the Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Pageant for eighteen years; and retired from Mercy Medical Center as a cafeteria cook. She was also a volunteer at the Bethel Home gift shop where she was a resident for seven years. Kathryn loved to watch her children and grandchildren, especially in sports. Her favorite city was Las Vegas, Nevada.She is survived by seven children, Mary (Roger) Nelson, Elizabeth (Don) Pelky, Rose Faust, Lynn Reimer, William Ranieri, Patty (Paul) Heimmermann, and Donna (Jim) Herkert; fifteen grandchildren, Lisa, Eric, Steven, Brandon, Matthew, Zachary, Anthony, Dominic, Katie, Nick, Megan, Christopher, Brittany, Nicole, and Sam.She is further survived by her great grandchildren, Michael, Dominic, Griffyn, Kameron, Nevaeha, and Armani.Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Ranieri Sr.; daughter, Carmella; son, Louis Ranieri Jr.; granddaughters, Sutton and Kathryn; two sisters, Mildred and Harriet; two brothers, Gil and Harry.A funeral service for Kathryn will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church (830 S. Westhaven Dr.) with Fr. Carl Schmitt officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes Westside from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to follow; and again on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.Kays family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home and Century Oaks Assisted Living, especially her granddaughter Lisa, for all the loving care she received while making her home at each place. Mom, we will all strive to be the best parent and friend to others like you were to all of us. We all love you and will miss you more than words can say.
