Kathy Tucker

Kathy Tucker (nee Kruger), aka MomLady, died at home in the company of her loving family on July 8th at 1:20 pm in Oshkosh, WI. She was born in Des Plaines, IL on July 27, 1956 and was the daughter of Vern (deceased) and Katherine Kruger (nee Schmidt). On August 27, 1977 she married the love of her life, Mike Tucker. They had met at Concordia College in River Forest, IL and after Mike finished school they moved to Oshkosh in the fall of 1980. Over the years Kathy was employed at Prange Way, Shopko, Fleet Farm and Dollar Tree. Kathy enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, drawing, all animals, horseback riding and especially spending vacations at Little Silver Lake in Wild Rose, WI with her family and aunts, uncles and cousins.Kathy is survived by her husband Michael of 36 years; her son Jesse (Little Canada, MN), and her daughter-in-law, Anna (nee Rohlfing); her mother Katherine (Arlington Heights, IL); one sister, Nancy (Chuck) Adams (Monee, IL); two brothers: Jeff (Jodi) Kruger (Batavia, IL) and Gary (Dawn) Kruger (St. Charles, IL), along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Monday July 14, 2014 from 10am to 11am prior to the memorial service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 370 Bowen Street, Oshkosh, WI with Pastor Kelly Leary officiating. A light lunch will be provided following the service in the church basement.The family wishes to thank Dr. Yazback and Dr. Moid and their staffs for all their kindness shown during Kathys illness. They especially wish to thank Staci, Amy, and Shelley with Aurora Visiting Nurses who provided both professional and tender care during Kathys time in hospice.
