Keith M. Nowak

Keith Michael Nowak died suddenly Thursday December 14th in his home. He was born on August 25th, 1951 alongside his beloved twin sister, Kathy, in Moline, IL. He attended Alleman High School in Rock Island, IL. There he met his wife, Linda, and they were blessed beyond compare with four children. After moving to Oshkosh, WI he worked as the used car manager at Bergstrom Automotive until his retirement in 2015. This was a job he truly loved and was proud to call himself a Bergstrom Associate.

After retirement, Keith spent his time golfing, traveling with Linda, relishing his role as a Papa to nine grandchildren and welcoming friends and family as guests to their home he was so proud of. Keith was generous in all things, but most importantly he was generous with his love. Those who loved him and were loved by him never doubted that. He loved all things Celtics, especially Larry Bird and John Havlicek, hanging out and enjoying a cigar with Steve McBain, and catching up with his best friend Dave Dineen. Much to his wife’s chagrin, his interest in Law & Order kept the show on a continuous loop in their home.

He is survived by his wife Linda, his mother Gerry Nowak, brother Gary (Mary) Nowak, twin sister Kathy (Dean) Prine, sister Karen (Larry) Wilfong, children Elizabeth (Nick) Caruso, Sarah (Kyle) Nachman, Emily (Nathan) Moenck and Matthew (Amanda Goljenboom) Nowak, grandchildren Faith, Connor, and Norah Garrity, Tristan and Abel Nachman, Olivia, Natalie, and Adeline Moenck, and Dominic Goljenboom, nieces, nephews and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father Mike Nowak.

Visitation will be held from 3:30 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017, at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. The evening will conclude with a short time to share memories at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh.
