Kelly Marie Harrington passed away on December 28 at Bethel Home, three months after suffering complications from a surgical procedure. She was surrounded daily by the many family members and friends who loved her. We some times jokingly said you had to take a number to see her. Kelly worked as the daytime cook at Bethel for the past 12 years and so she received special care and attention from the staff, who had been her co-workers and friends for many years. Prior to working at Bethel, she worked for many years at Oshkosh Medical & Rehabilitation, also serving up meals there for the residents to enjoy.Kelly was born October 28, 1965. During her 44 years, she made many people smile and was known for her contagious giggle. The most important thing in her life was her family and friends. She demonstrated that repeatedly in the many big and little things she did. She had the heart of a servant, always putting the needs and well-being of others ahead of her own. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone and those who knew her best said she could always say something to make their day brighter. One of her happiest moments was the birth of her grandson Noah, who added much joy and laughter to her days.Kelly is survived by her father and step-mother, Steve and Deb Kosmer, her mother and step-father, Mary and Tom Schuhart, the man that she loved for the past thirteen years, Jerry Witkowski, her son Kevin Reese (special friend Alisa), her daughter Ashley Harrington, her grandson Noah Hackett, her brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Michele Kosmer, her sister Heather Boushele, step-brother Joseph Schuhart, step-sister Kelli Schmitz, step-sister, Kristina Madison and her husband Michael, nephews Daniel Ballman and Tyler Kosmer, her niece Arianna Ballman, Jerrys daughter Alei Witkowski, Granny and Grandpa (Wayne and Janice Reese), her three furry companions, (Tika , Lillian, and Pepper) and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother JR Boushele, her step-brother Shawn Schmitz, grandparents, Gordon and Margaret Timmerman, Mildred Timmerman, and Florine and Sylvester Kosmer.
