Kristina L. Taylor-Brand

Kristina L. Taylor-Brand, age 46, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at her home. She was born on December 5, 1976, in Oshkosh to Chuck and Barbara Voruda Lakefield. On December 10, 2003, she married Matthew Brand. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2023.

She enjoyed singing since she was a child and she enjoyed singing in the church choir along with her late husband Matthew. Her and Matthew enjoyed DJing and singing for karaoke. She had a passion to cook and always loved teaching her children how to cook. She was always there for her family and very proud of all of her kids. She was a stay-at-home mom most of her life but she made the best of it. She had worked at Eastbay for a few years, then she worked from home for Swiss Colony Brands. Kristina loved to spend her free time out on the porch watching the various animals wander by, and she enjoyed watching different TV shows and movies. Kristina grew strong in her faith, and walked by her Savior throughout her life. She always enjoyed being around family and always looked forward to even some of the most stressful holidays as long as she was with family.

She is survived by two sons: Anthony (Jaysa) Taylor, Jack (Brooke Mongan) Taylor; three daughters: Alexis Taylor, Emily Brand, Abigail Brand; her parents Barb (Chuck) Lakefield; one brother, Richard (Brianne) Seefeldt; her grandchildren: Carson Taylor, Sebastian Taylor, Lincoln Taylor and baby girl on the way Ava-Lynn Lauraine; her grandmother, Marjorie Varuda; her godparents: Mary (Steve) Struensee, Rick (Sandra) Voruda; and four cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her grandparents: Jack Voruda, Mary and Dalton Seefeldt, Marlin and Ramona Brand.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 6:00 pm at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 913 Nebraska Street, Oshkosh, with Rev. Joshua Jensen officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home to assist with the cost of services.
