Laberta Goltz

LaBerta L. Bert Goltz, 82, of Oshkosh, WI, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in the Country Companions Assisted Living Facility in Lake Nebagamon, WI. She was born on January 4, 1929 in Oshkosh to Edgar and Marion (Krygier) Zarling. On October 25, 1957 she married Donald V. Goltz in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1998. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and was a member of First English Lutheran Church. LaBerta worked for several Oshkosh Firms throughout her life: Oshkosh Truck, A.I. McDermott Pump Co., Wisconsin Axle and Oshkosh National Bank. Bert is survived by three sons, Curt Don (Sharon) Goltz of Lake Nebagamon, Ross Goltz of Poccatello, ID and Jeff (Priscilla) Goltz of Long Beach, CA; three grandchildren, Casey Fritz, Ashley Goltz, Josh Blair; one nephew, Eric (Linda) Zarling of Sussex, Wl and numerous other grand children and great grand children, relatives and friends. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Bingham; one brother, Gene Zarling and in-laws, Vic and Ruth Goltz and Dick Goltz. Memorial services for Bert will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside (100 Lake Pointe Drive) with the Rev. Nancy Krueger officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to the service time. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery for immediate family at a later date.
