Larry Lee Spiegelberg

Larry L. Spiegelberg, 63, of Oshkosh was taken peacefully into Gods Hands after a lengthy illness on Saturday May 23, 2009. He was at the Park View Health Center. Larry was born March 1, 1946 in Appleton a son of Willard and Adeline Moder Spiegelberg. He married Carol LeMay on November 9, 1967 in Neenah. Larry was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. He had worked at Wisconsin Bell-Ameritech for 25 years retiring in 1995 and was a Vietnam Army veteran. Larry was a former volunteer fireman for the Town of Oshkosh. He loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, camping, and snowmobiling. Larry is survived by his wife Carol, a son Trent (Lori) Spiegelberg, a daughter Tammy (Peter) Kielbasa all of Oshkosh; two grandsons Adam Krueger of Boston, MA and Kyle Krueger of Appleton; three step-granddaughters Amber Mulroy, Britney Klatt, and Lana Kielbasa; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph LeMay of Townsend, Gary (Vicki) LeMay of Townsend, Harry LeMay of Oshkosh, Jeff (Kathy) LeMay of Oshkosh, Delores Clark of Oshkosh, Linda (John) Schmidt of Neenah, and Darlene LeMay of Oshkosh; godchildren Kimberlie, Randy, Troy, Timothy, and Jami; numerous nieces and nephews; and his second family at Park View Health Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Kay Spiegelberg, parents-in-law Joseph and Virginia LeMay, a brother-in-law Bill LeMay, and a sister-in-law Patty Kevill. A Funeral service for Larry will be held Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 7:00 PM at St. Andrew Ev. Lutheran Church, Rev. Thomas McFarland officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Tuesday from 4 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established. Larrys family sends a special thank you to the entire staff at Park View Health Center, his care was the best.
