Larry W. Wright

Larry Wayne Wright went to his heavenly home on March 14 with his wife at his side. He was born on July 19, 1942 to Mattie Lucille and Charles Brent Wright. He married Nancy McCray on December 30, 1967.

Larry served in the National Guard. He was employed for many years as a pipefitter by J.F. Ahern in Fond du Lac.  He was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed spending time with his golfing buddies David, Steve and Jim. Larry also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and watching football.

Larry is survived by his wife Nancy, son Todd (Carol) Wright, daughter Jennifer (Marcus) Wakeley, beloved grandson Drake Merten, sister Charlene Gardner and sisters-in law Pamela (Seth) Abbott and Charlotte and Marilyn Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Wallace Eugene, James Ronald, and twin brother, Gary Wright.

The family is sincerely grateful to the Aurora Hospice caregivers for their kindness and compassion shown to Larry. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Dr., Oshkosh with Chaplain Michelle Dvorak officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
