Laurel Lee Phillips

Laurel L. Phillips, age 57, of Oshkosh, died Monday January 16, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on September 5, 1954 in Oshkosh a daughter of Walter and Ruthie Mae Davis Pulver. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading romance novels, doing word searches, drinking coffee and visiting with friends and family. She was like a second mother and grandmother to many.She is survived by her children Corinne Phillips, Chad(Kelly Boening) Phillips, Curt Phillips, Amber(Andrew Dunn) Kessen, her siblings Cherri(Russ) Klug, Sandra(Russ) Demler, Carla(Steve) Faust, Vicki Pulver, Herbert(Debbie) Pulver, Marsha(Jim) Jordan, Benjamin(Rosalie) Pulver, Janet Pulver, her grandchildren Austin Phillips, Dylan Phillips, Ethan Phillips, Aubrey McCarthy, Andrew Dunn Jr., Payton Kessen, her life long friend Ila Lane, and her close friend Chris Kendell. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family.She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Aaron Kessen.Funeral services for Laurel will be held on Friday January 20, 2012 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Medical Center ICU, her niece Valerie Pulver, and family and friends who have helped and supported them.
