Laverne Marie Anderson

LaVerne M. Anderson, 96, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2015, at North Haven Retirement Home. She was born on April 27, 1919, in Oshkosh, to the late Arthur and Marie (Thiele) Wulk. She was married to Harry Anderson on June 26, 1965.LaVerne graduated from Oshkosh High School and went on to be a bookkeeper at First National Bank. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Robert) Staehling; sister, Audrey Bartelt; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Troy Mathwig; and two great grandchildren, Devin and Myya Mathwig. She is further survived by niece, Jill Taylor; and nephews, Thomas (Gail), Jack, and Craig (Cathy) Bartelt.LaVerne was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; parents; a sister, Phyllis Kruske; and brothers-in-law: Leland and Elmer.A memorial service will be held for LaVerne at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-(Westside) with Rev. John Hobbins officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
