Leanora M Mohr, age 76 of Oshkosh, passed away into the arms of the Lord with her family by her side on Wednesday August 20, 2008. She was born May 10th, 1932 in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late Martin and Margarete (Grusnik) Muza. She married Ralph W Mohr on September 3rd, 1958 in Oshkosh.Leanora worked 27 summers at the E & E Drive In, seasonal work at Miles Kimball, retail sales at Rodat Jewelers, Northwest Fabrics and JK Fabrics. Leanora was an active member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ and participated in Daughters of Sarah, Chancel Choir and several years served as the cook for the confirmation classes. It is there where she earned the name Shorty. She also was affectionately known as Lee, Lea or Butch to those who loved her. She enjoyed her crocheting, counted cross stitch and sewing. Her brilliant sewing skills were passed on to her daughter, and will never be forgotten. Family was the most important part of her life and she will be dearly missed by those who survive her. Leanora was survived by her sister Germaine (John) Farmer and her children: Leanne (Dan) Monroe, Larry Mohr, Lynda Mohr, Les (Tammy) Mohr all of Oshkosh. She is further survived by her very special grandchildren: Stephanie (Mauricio) Pereira da Silva and Chris Schwab of Oshkosh. She is also survived by her joyful granddogs who loved her very much: Max, Sam and Fuller as well as numerous nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and three siblings: Betty Sagemeister, Donald Fugleberg and Jerrold Muza and her very special granddog Cody. Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday August 24th, 2008 with Rev. R David Gaskill officiating. Friends may greet the family from 2-4 p.m. at Emmanuel United Church of Christ before the service. Memorials may be designated to Emmanuel United Church of Christ or the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. Leanoras family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff at Theda Clark Medical Center, Affinity Urgent Care, Nephrology Associates of the Fox Valley, Clarity Care and the special care given by Jill Monroe. He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. ~Psalm 91:1-2
