Lenora Luedtke Pekot

Lenora E. Luedtke Pekot, 85, Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 11, 2018. She was born January 20, 1933, in St. Augustine, FL, daughter of Rufus and Ella (Oestricher) Stratton. Lenora married Edward Pekot in Pennsylvania on May 9, 1998. She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for many years prior to her retirement.

Lenora is survived by her husband Edward; children: Terre, Toni, Trina, Bridget, Robin, Beth, Ivy, Ginger, Danita, Thomas, Tonya, Troy; 36 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren; a brother, Rufus (Bubba) Stratton; a sister, Celieu Day.

Lenora was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred H.; and sons, Alfred D. and Jeffrey.

A gathering with the family will be held at Oakhaven Church, 2175 Witzel Avenue, Oshkosh on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 1PM until 3PM. A time to share memories and short prayers will be held at 3PM. Interment will be in Sampson Cemetery, St. Augustine, FL.
