Leola R. Johnson

Leola R. Johnson 101, of Oshkosh, died on January 15, 2007 at Vallhaven Care Center. She was born in Shawano County on March 13, 1905. She married Earl Yaeger in Waukegan, IL.; who preceded her in death, and later married Nate Johnson, who also preceded her in death.Leola was a longtime member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church. She had been employed at the Waite Carpet Company. Leola enjoyed sewing and crocheting, she loved to shop, travel and dine out.Survivors include three grandchildren, Diane (Gary) Grueter, Sun Prairie, WI; Suzette (Don) Stewart, Neenah; Greg Yaeger, Chicago, IL; and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends, Lucille, Pat, Gary, Ann, and twins, Lillian and Lucille, and by special friends from church who brought communion to her, Lee, Sally and James. Leola was preceded in death by her son, Paul Yaeger; a brother, Art; and a sister, Rose.Funeral services will be held at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church (808 N. Main St.) on Wednesday January 17, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to the time of service.
