Leona I. Gradl

Leona Ida Gradl, age 86, passed away on April 9, 2022.  She was born on March 12, 1936, in the city of Wautoma, the daughter of Ida and Albert Groskruetz.

Leona married John W. Gradl, her friend, partner, soulmate, and love of her life, on June 30, 1956, in Oshkosh. Gardening and fishing were some of her favorite things to do and she was great at them!

Leona cherished her family very much. When she talked about her children, Leona’s face just beamed with pride.Leona is survived by two daughters, Debra (Pat) Ryan of Oshkosh and Judith Koch-Broda of Oshkosh; two grandsons, Kelley R. Koch (Cassie) and Daniel J. Koch; two great grandchildren, Natalie M. Koch, and Jacob R. Koch of Oshkosh; one sister, Joyce (Robert) Wentland of Redgranite; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ida and Albert, Leona was preceded in death by her husband, John; one sister, Dorothy; and two brothers, Alfred, and Harvey.

Leona will always be loved and missed by all, but know she is with her love in heaven and at peace.

Private family services will be held.
