Lester Florian Neitzel

Lester Florian Neitzel, 77, of Oshkosh, died Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Aurora Medical Center. He was born on March 27, 1938, son of the late Florian and Esther (Berholtz) Neitzel. Lester served 20 years in the Air National Guard and was a foreman at Rockwell International. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.Lester is survived by his son, Mark Neitzel; daughter, Pamela (Robert) Newell; stepson, Mitchel (Sherry) Meton; grandchildren, Keira Neitzel, Heather (Brian) Wuest, Ashley (Chris) DeBlois; great-grandchild, Scott Wuest; brother, Richard (Sandra) Neitzel; brother-in-law, Harvey Thomas; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special friends, Tom Poeshel, Dennis King, and Jim Mathe. Lester is also survived by his furry friend, Little Buddy.Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Florian and Esther Neitzel; sisters, Elaine (Richard) Hughes and Amber Thomas; and three infant siblings.Funeral services for Lester will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes Westside, with Rev. Wayne Derber officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, July 23 from 3:00-7:00 pm and again on Friday, July 24 from 10:00 am until time of service. The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora Medical center-ICU for the loving care they provided for Lester.
