Lillian G Radtke, 93, of Grantsburg, formerly of Oshkosh died on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Burnett Medical Center. Lillian was born on March 29, 1921 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Michael and Emma Klemke-Radtke.Lillian was a Librarian at the Oshkosh Public Library and was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Lillian and her sister, Leona, were inseparable throughout most of their lives. They lived in the home they grew up in, went to school together and became librarians. Neither of them ever married and never drove a car, always taking public transportation or walking to work. Lillian loved little children and was known as the Story Lady, who read to children on Saturdays at the library.Survivors include four nephews, Kobi (Vickie) Phillipps of Grantsburg, WI, Tony Phillipps of Lynden, WA, Michael (Beth) Radtke of Green Bay, and Eugene (Beatty) Weigelt of Mountain, WI; and a niece, Lynnette Radtke of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother; sister, Leona Radtke; sister, Arnet Phillipps and her husband Calvin; sister, Lena Weigelt, her husband Herman, and their son, Gilbert; and brother, Irving Radtke and his wife, Jennie.Funeral services for Lillian will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside with the Rev Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
