On August 28, 2009, God called Lillian Schettle, age 93, to her heavenly home to live with Him forever more. She leaves behind a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, which was her prayer that all of her family to experience that same relationship.Born March 8, 1916, to Joseph and Ellen Neustifter, Lillian married Alois Schettle with whom she spent 63 years before his passing on June 11, 2000.Lillian led a life of caring for others, her in-laws, parents, a brother, and a niece before their deaths. She was happy to have everyone there.Glad Tidings Tabernacle was her church home and each member was special to her as she enjoyed Wednesday night bible study and Tuesday morning bible study at Simeanna.Lillian will be greatly missed and her memory cherished by all who knew her.Survivors are her children: David(Eleanor Forseth) Schettle, Mary Ann(Kenneth) Walter, Sylivia(Roger) Haase, Stephen(Joan) Schettle, Daniel(Marilyn) Schettle, Donald(Sue) Schettle, and Mark(Debbie) Schettle.
