Linda Husman

Linda Suzanne Husman, age 60, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014 peacefully at her home. She was born on January 7, 1954 in Racine, the daughter of Robert and Pat (Carroll) Wallenta. Linda graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She was a special education teacher for 33 years. On June 22, 1974 she was united in marriage to Randy Husman in Racine; their marriage was blessed with three children. Linda was an active member at First United Methodist church. She enjoyed traveling, playing the piano, reading, volunteering, and spending time up north at the cabin with her family. During the past two years, it was an absolute joy for Linda to watch her beautiful and inquisitive granddaughter Brynn.Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Randy, her children Suzanne, Jason (Amy), and Renee; granddaughter Brynn and expectant grandson; her father, Robert (Helen) Wallenta, her brothers: Thomas (Tess) Wallenta and David (Mary) Wallenta; one sister Carol (Jerry) Cooper, three brothers-in-law: Clay Johnson, Ron Husman and Del Husman and one sister-in-law, Donna (Warren) Nitz. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Pat, two sisters, Sharon Johnson and Cindy Sylvester; and one sister-in-law, Patti Husman.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, 700 W Linwood Ave, Oshkosh, with Rev. John Hobbins officiating. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. from 4:00 pm until 8:00pm and also on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Memorials may be directed to: First United Methodist Church, Evergreen Foundation and American Cancer Society.
