Lloyd Gilbert Arhelger

Lloyd G. Arhelger, 93, of Oshkosh, died August 6, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1913 in Oshkosh the son of Edward and Emma Bratsch Arhelger. Lloyd married Faye Kemnitz on April 19, 1941 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on April 2, 2004.Lloyd was a member of First United Methodist Church, a fifty year member of Oshkosh Masonic Lodge # 27, Order of Eastern Star and White Shrine of Jerusalem. He was also a member of the Tripoli Shrine Temple of Milwaukee. Lloyd was employed by Levisee Lumber Co. as vice president and Rockwell as supervisor of cost estimating, retiring in 1975.Lloyd is survived by a special niece, Beverly Smith of Oshkosh, and some cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother Allan, and a sister-in-law Irene Nydahl.Funeral services will be held on August 8,2006 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Harry Naden officiating. Friends are invited for a time of fellowship following the service. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to First United Methodist Church.
