Loretta A. Rupiper, age 69, of Oshkosh, died on June 14, 2018 at her home, which she loved. She was born on April 21, 1949 in Oshkosh to Norman and Laura (Berndt) Scott. On March 12, 1982 she married Roger Rupiper in Oshkosh at Saint John's Lutheran Church on Main. She retired from the University Of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where she worked as a custodian for many years.
Throughout her retirement, she stayed busy despite her physical limitations, always cleaning, fixing, and improving her home. She enjoyed antiques, collectables, and rummaging. She shared her love with everyone around her and was a great pet mom, as well. She will be remembered by those nearest her as the kindest, most self-less woman there has ever been. Life will never be the same without her; she was nothing short of amazing.
“ …when you see only one set of footprints; it was then that I carried you.”
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Roger Rupiper, her favorite son Donald Rupiper, her favorite daughter Kim Rupiper (Robert Hurlbut), her grandson Raymond McCann, who was the light of her life, and two sisters Barb and Janet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Raymond and Ronald. She has been reunited with those she loved and lost and will be missed, until we meet again.
Private family services will be held.
