Loretta Kay Blechl

Loretta Kay Blechl, age 70, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Omro Care Center. She was born in Oshkosh on December 24, 1952, to the late Frank and Lois (Wilde) Blechl.

Lorretta was a vibrant woman known for her love and compassion for animals. She had a big personality that touched the lives of those around her. She enjoyed working as a sales associate in retail throughout her life.

Loretta is survived by her siblings: Michael (Ellen) Blechl, Mary (Ed) Van Ravenstein, Patsy Erdmann, Dan Blechl, Alan (Melanie) Blechl, and Bruce Blechl and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Frank Steven and Randy Blechl; sister-in-law, Tammy Blechl; brother-in-law, Roger Erdmann; boyfriend, Gary Ruedinger; and numerous beloved pets.

A private burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Omro Care Center, Katie from Oshkosh Family, and Jody from Heartland Hospice for all the care, compassion and support shown to Loretta.
