Lorraine Carol Pregler

Lorraine passed into Eternal Life peacefully with family at her side on Sunday, June 1, 2014. She was born October 12, 1932 in Oshkosh, the only child of Frank and Margaret Boguski . She attended St. Josephat Elementary School 1938-1944, Merrill Junior High 1944-1946, Oshkosh High School 1946-1950 and Oshkosh Business College 1950-1952. She married Norman Pregler in 1954 and raised 4 children in their 34 years of marriage. She worked at the Winnebago County, Register of Deeds where she served as Deputy of the Register of Deeds, under four elected officials from 1968-2000. She loved gardening, knitting, traveling, and keeping up with her children. She was a lifetime member of St. Josephat Catholic Church in Oshkosh. She is survived by her four children, Jeanann Alvord (Mark) of Davis, Illinois, Joan Pregler (Loren Imhoff) of Cross Plains, Wisconsin, Julie Nelson (Steve) of Madison, Wisconsin and Russell Pregler (Lisa Bahr) of Kimball, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Cassi Weiser (Louie) of Madison, Wisconsin, Terese Nelson of Northfield, Minnesota and Daniel Imhoff of Cross Plains, Wisconsin, two step grandchildren, Stephen Imhoff (Corie) of Cross Plains, Wisconsin and Michael Imhoff of Middleton, Wisconsin and three great grandchildren. She leaves behind her faithful companion, Norm Pregler of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and special neighbors Rachael, Andy, and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Margaret Boguski. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish St. Josaphat Site (1333 Walnut Street) on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Bill DeKreeke presiding. Visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman Eastside from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, with the Rosary at 7:00pm; and again on Monday at the church from 10:00 until the time of service.
