Lorraine Edna Roth

Lorraine Edna (Auck) Roth, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2016 at Evergreen Retirement Community.Lorraine was born July 1, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late George F. and Edna Ruedinger.Lorraine attended 17 different schools throughout the country before settling in Oshkosh, where she married Adam Auck on August 14, 1948 at St. Vincents Rectory in Oshkosh. Adam preceded Lorraine in death on January 6, 1984 after 35 years of marriage. Later in life she found love again and married Richard Roth on December 22, 1990 at St. Josephats Church in Oshkosh, who preceded her in death on April 1, 1995 after only 4 short years of marriage.During her lifetime she worked as a bookkeeper for Sommerfeld Welders, Hrnaks Flowerland and Choice Reality. She was most happy spending time with family and friends. Lorraines joys in life included traveling, camping, spending winters in Florida, reading, quilting, oil and water painting and her dog companions. Lorraine was an accomplished artist and will be remembered for her artistic creations. Lorraine was drawing and painting into her 90s. Lorraine was a member of Most Blessed Sacred Parish.Survivors include her daughters and son: Jennifer (William) Weigand of Oshkosh, Julie (Dr. Antonio) Talens, of Appleton, and Philip (Kathy) Auck, Wautoma; her grandchildren: Mark Weigand (Amy) Oshkosh, Matthew (Kelly) Weigand Green Bay, Drs. Teresa (Mark ) Lucia, Austin, TX, Deanna Talens, Wurzberg, Germanyand Brent Auck, Mendoza, Argentina; and her great-granddaughter, Lauren Lucia, Austin, TX. Lorraine is also survived by stepson, Daniel (Peggy) Roth of Oshkosh, stepdaughter, Diane (Mark) Monroe of Wild Rose, step-grandchildren: Julie (Sam) Paske, St. Paul, MN, Lorianna (Jeremy) Schmidt Oshkosh, Andrew (Sarah) Monroe, Madison, Alicia (Shabbar) Razvi Stevens Point, and Dave Roth, Oshkosh; step-great-grandchildren: Ela, Matthias, Catherine, Josiah, Dylan, Jacob, Aaliyah, Ilyaas, Imran; sisters-in-law: Caroline Rittman of Portage, Helene Auck of Portage, Delores Wakerhauser of Indiana, further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.Lorraine was preceded in death by her husbands, Adam and Richard, brother, George Roland, four sisters-in-law and seven brothers-in-law.Funeral Services will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.The family wishes to thank the wonderful staffs at Bella Vista and Evergreen Retirement Community for the loving care and thoughtfulness that was shown to our mother during the past eight years.
