Lorraine June Helstrom

Lorraine June Helstrom, 84 of Oshkosh, died on Saturday April 1, 2006, while at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center. Lorraine was born in Oshkosh, on January 19, 1922, a daughter of Arthur and Nova Shaw Niemuth. She married Raymond G. Helstrom on August 14, 1954 in Oshkosh. Ray preceded her in death on August 19, 1989.Lorraine retired from Rockwell International where she was a secretary for many years. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Lorraine was a member of the Elks Ladies, formerly active with the Oshkosh Community Players, and enjoyed traveling and reading.She is survived by a niece, Karen (Roy) Hinn, Oshkosh; a great niece, Vicki Pelky, Oshkosh; a great nephew, Jeff (Lisa) Hinn, Oshkosh; good friends, Ron, Kathy, and Geraldine Mrs. Geri Warner.Funeral services will be held at First English Lutheran Church on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Chuck Flugel officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be at Ellenwood Cemetery. A memorial to First English Lutheran Church has been established.Lorraines family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center, and Aurora Medical Center, and her next door neighbor, John and Peggy Furman for their care and support.
