Lorraine L. Knoblock, 95, of Oshkosh, died Friday August 29, 2008 at Bethel Home. She was born August 24, 1913 in Oshkosh a daughter of Edward and Mary Mueller Ellner. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church for 50 years and a current member of Glad Tidings Tabernacle. She was an excellent seamstress in her younger years and enjoyed bingo, gambling and playing cards.She is survived by her two daughters Victoria(Ray) Sheldon of Berlin, Sandra(Bill) Halenkamp of Grafton, two brothers Jerry(Dorothy) Ellner of Pelican Lake, JohnHuntz(Jane) Ellner of Elcho, two sisters Helen Webster of Norfolk, VA., Mary Jane Galica of Oshkosh, seven grandchildren Jody(Tony) Panozzo of Lake Geneva, Elizabeth(Eddie) Cortez of Sheboygan, Raymond Butch Sheldon Jr. of Oshkosh, Debra(Scott) Tobey of Oshkosh, Michelle(Dan) Nowicki of Cedarburg, Christine Carpenter of Cedarburg, LeAnn Radey of Green Bay and 16 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Knoblock, and four brothers Earl Ellner, Richard Ellner, Edward Ellner and Harold Ellner.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 2, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Glad Tidings Tabernacle (122 W. Bent Ave.). Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank the nurses at Bethel Home for their care of Lorraine especially Alice, Sue, and Pat.
