Lorraine Mary Becker

Lorraine M. Becker, 92, of Oshkosh passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born on August 31, 1913 in Oshkosh the daughter of Edward and Martha Erdmann Schutz. On September 16, 1938 she was united in marriage with John Becker. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1981.Lorraine was a long time member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ and had been very active in many aspects of the church. She is survived by her children, Mary (David) Schmitt, Ellen Becker, John (Betty) Becker all of Oshkosh and Martha (Dale) Albers of Sherwood; grandchildren, Lisa (James) Sprung, Lori (Michael) Berndt, Amy (Kevin) Huff, Kristin (Robert) Schafer, Kari Becker, Teri (Jake) Wagner, John Albers; great grandchildren, Holly Berndt, Curtis and Elijah Sprung, Caitlyn and Alyssa Schafer, Amanda, Tyler and Parker Huff, Alexis Kaufmann, Draven Wagner; and great great grandchild, Ashton Butcher.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Donald Schutz; two sisters, Henrietta Stiller and Marjorie Grimm.The funeral service will be on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 6:00 PM at St. Pauls United Church of Christ, 1250 Leonard Point Rd. Family and friends may gather at the church on Thursday from 4:30 PM to the time of service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.In lieu of flowers a memorial to St. Pauls Sunday School Fund would be appreciated.
