Lorraine Rose Zimmerman

Lorraine R. Zimmerman, 84, of Oshkosh, died on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at her residence. Lorraine was born on July 15, 1926 in Oshkosh the daughter of Henry and Mildred Rasmussen Zimmerman.She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ and St. Pauls Ladies Guild. Lorraine worked at Arrowhead Conveyor Corp. for 21 years and then worked at Younkers in Oshkosh. She was active with the Convention and Tourism Bureau and an avid golfer and bowler, participating in several leagues. Lorraine is survived by six nephews, Daniel (Arlene) Calkins, Gary (Cheryl) Calkins, Gino (Kay) Heineman, Robert (Elizabeth) Zimmerman Jr., Michael (Carol) Zimmerman, Scott Zimmerman; five nieces, Nancy (Robert) Brei, Christina (Joseph) Kissinger, Lisa (Kerry) Hamilton, Karen (Jeffrey) Bond, Patricia (Jason) Jauhloa. She is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Henry Zimmerman Jr., Robert Zimmerman Sr.; two sisters, Dorothy Zimmerman and Loretta Heineman; a great niece Becki Brei and a great nephew, Casey Kissinger. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. Pauls United Church of Christ (1250 Leonard Point Rd) with Pastor RaeAnn Beebe officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church from Noon to 1:00 PM on Friday. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Aunt Rainy, you will be missed by us all.
