Louis D Ranieri Sr.

Louis D. Ranieri Sr., 82, of Oshkosh, died Thursday Oct. 5, 2006 at Bethel Home. He was born July 1, 1924 in Pennsylvania a son of Cammello and Mary Gallucci Ranieri. On July 16, 1955 he married Kathryn Price in Chicago. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He belonged to the Elks club where he was a bartender.He is survived by his wife Kathryn, eight children Mary(Roger) Nelson of Oshkosh, Elizabeth(Don) Pelky of Oshkosh, Rose(Steve) Faust of Oshkosh, Louis(Cindy) Ranieri Jr. of Oshkosh, Lynn(Mike) Reimer of Lake Villa, IL., William(Lori) Ranieri of Oshkosh, Patricia(Paul) Heimmermann of Mountain, Wi., Donna(Jim) Herkert of Oshkosh, one brother Tony(Mary) Ranieri of Pennsylvania, one sister Carmella(Jess) Neil of Pennsylvania, fifteen grandchildren Lisa, Eric, Steven, Brandon, Katie, Nick, Megan, Matthew, Zachary, Tony, Dominic, Chris, Britt, Nicole, Sam, and one great-grandchild Michael.He was preceded in death by one daughter Carmella, one brother Jim, one sister Marie Rossatti, two grandchildren Sutton, and Kathryn.A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday Oct. 9, 2006 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday Oct. 8, 2006 from 4-8 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-West and again on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park where military honors will be performed.A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank Dr. Roland Woodruff, Dr. Stephen Wilson, Bethel Home, and Affinity Hospice especially Astra.
