Louise C Casey

Louise C. Casey, age 103, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2017 at Park View Health Center, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was born to the late Francis and Harriet (Rybarczyk) Hannon on August 18, 1914 in Revere, Massachusetts. She married Edwin Casey in Lynn, Massachusetts on July 21, 1940. He was Lynn City Solicitor for many years. Together they enjoyed 51 years until his death November 18, 1991. Louise loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She and her brother Francis had a dance studio and were well known performers, offering classes, recitals, and demonstrations. Louise was recognized for 27 years as a volunteer and board member at the Pink Shop at Lynn Hospital. She knit more than 200 sweaters for newborns with Creative Caring Hearts. Louise enjoyed crafts of all kinds and was painting well into her 90’s.
Louise is survived by her three daughters, Joanne (Richard) Pollock, Paula (Harold) Wood, and Jeannie Callahan; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Louise is further preceded in death by her brothers, Francis (Ruth) and George (Mary) Hannon; and son-in-law, David Callahan.
A private memorial will occur at a later date followed by a burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lynn, Massachusetts.
