Louise Neubauer, age 89, of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday July 22, 2013 at Evergreen in Oshkosh. Louise was born in Chicago, IL. on March 5, 1924 to Joseph and Anna Kalchbrenner.In 1945 she met and is survived by the love of her life Chuck Neubauer. They married in 1947 and celebrated 66 years of marriage on July 12th. Chuck and Lou were blessed with two daughters Karen(John) Fitzingo and Laura Kevin. Louise and Chuck were like parents to their sons-in-law, Mike, Barry and John. They were further blessed with four grandchildren Marilyn Torbeck, Amanda Durack, Brian(Elsa) Kevin, and Erin(Joseph) Kevin. Louise delighted in telling stories of her childhood with her six brothers and sisters Joseph, John, Elsie, Ann, Wally and Marge. Her siblings became her lifelong friends along with their spouses, Gertrude, Elsie, Hank, Henry, Jim and Kay. She is survived by her sister and best friend Margaret Frawley.Louise embraced Chucks family as her own. They included his parents Lukas and Louise and his sisters Christine(Ed) and Pauline(Art).Louise and Chuck were loved and admired by 19 nieces and nephews.Lou and Chucks legacy is one of true love that lasted a lifetime and will last eternally.A celebration of Louises life will be held on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church(2450 W. 9th Ave.) with Rev. Roger Erdman officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:30 until the time of the service.Memorials in Louises name can be made out to Evergreen in Oshkosh.The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Evergreen who cared for her with kindness and dignity.
