Luann S Bass

LuAnn Bass of Oshkosh passed away on July 23, 2018 at Mercy Medical Hospital in Oshkosh, WI. She was born May 30, 1954 and graduated from Lourdes High School. LuAnn enjoyed her church community at St. Thomas Episcopal Church led by Father Ralph. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren (who affectionately call her Lala), and she enjoyed attending their sports and performance events, spending time with them, and giving them gifts.

LuAnn is survived by three children: Amanda Dodge, Kevin (Kacie Mischler) Bass, and Heather (Will) Andersen; five grandchildren: Haleigh, Emma, and Carter Dodge, and Claire and Charlie Andersen; and one brother: Kenny Bass. She was preceded in death by her parents: George and JoAnn Bass; sister: Julie Bass; and grandmother: Violet Mueller.

A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Menasha on Thursday, August 2, 2018. The visitation will start at 4:30 and the service will be at 6pm. A special thank you to the ICU and 2nd floor teams at Mercy Medical for making Luann comfortable during her final days. “We’re going to miss you, Lala. Love you lots.”
