They were blessed with 2 children, Sandra and Dan Fritz. Along with their own children they fostered children for 22 years, Linda, Kevin and Jimmie. Lucille taught grades 1, 3 and 4 at St. Marys Catholic School in Oshkosh for 28 years. She met many good lifelong friends and taught many of Oshkoshs great children. She was loved by all her students. Sandra married Eugene Spark Nowak (deceased) and they had two daughters, Kim and Kandice. Their family continued to grow when Dan married Jean Putzer adding two more grandchildren, Katie and Nathan. Lucille had the pleasure of enjoying the newest additions - 7 great-grandchildren. Over the years, Lucille and Emmert had many close friends with whom they shared activities, including traveling, dinner parties at their home, and camping at Boot Lake in northern Wisconsin. She greatly enjoyed entertaining and cooking. Some of her favorites were baked chicken and roast beef and her absolutely fabulous rhubarb custard pie. Lucille loved traveling the world. She traveled to Korea, Hawaii and the Caribbean Islands on cruises, and most of the United States. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, doll collecting and antique collecting. Many a Saturday she was found at auctions. Lucille loved and enjoyed the outdoors especially spending time at the cottage in the woods. She could catch, clean and cook all the fish caught.
