Lucille Lapoint

Lucille LaPoint, age 86, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Park View Health Center-Pleasant Acres.She was born in Oshkosh on January 27th, 1921, the daughter of John and Minnie Woldt Eichmann. She married Donald LaPoint on June 21, 1940 in Oshkosh, and shortly after their 65th wedding anniversary he preceded her in death on October 14, 2005.She was a life long member of Peace Lutheran Church, also, was a member of the Volunteer People of Peace Lutheran Church, First English Neighborhood Center, Fox Valley Retirees Sub Chapter #51 and the American Association of Retired Persons.After being a home-maker for many years, she worked at Winnebago Mental Health Institute for 23 years before retiring in 1983.Survivors are one daughter, Leanne McHugh of Winneconne; one son, Neil (Gail) LaPoint of Omro; one sister, Dorothy Voigt; a grand-daughter, Elizabeth (Keith) Kufahl; five great-grandchildren, Joshua, Meghan, Hailey, Courtney and Kelsie; a sister-in-law Vera Eder; and many nieces and nephews.Services will be held Monday, September 17th, 2007 at 6 p.m. at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside), Rev. Nancy Krueger officiating. Family and friends may call at the Waugoo Ave funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m. until the service. Burial will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.The Family would like to give a special thanks to the 4th floor staff at Park View Health Center-Pleasant Acres for their wonderful care.
