Luella Bernice Pokrandt

Luella B. (Postl) Pokrandt, 97, of Oshkosh died Sunday April 4, 2010 at Bethel Home. She was born March 6, 1913 in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late John and Elsie (Gumz) Postl. On October 5, 1935, she was united in marriage to Clifford H. Pokrandt at Peace Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. Clifford preceded her in death on March 14, 2000. She was a lifelong resident of Oshkosh, most recently a resident of Bethel Nursing Home. She was employed at the Morgan Co., retiring in 1975. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. Luella is survived by her son Glenn Pokrandt and his wife Dougleen of Auburn, AL; three grandsons and their wives Peter Jon (Tricia) Pokrandt of Madison, WI, John Michael (Jody) Pokrandt of West Bend, WI, and Thomas Andrew (Amy) Pokrandt of Madison, WI; and six great-grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Kelsey, and Sidney of Madison, and Joshua and Grayson of West Bend; and many special relatives and friends, especially Sally Baehman. Her brother Earl Postl also preceded her in death. Luellas funeral will be on Saturday April 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside with the Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be held at the Waugoo Ave. funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Bethel Home Foundation.
