Lynn Baxter Spaulding Diemel, called into the presents of her Loving God May 24th 2012. She is now praising and dancing before her King and maker. She was surrounded by her husband and family who will miss her but are blessed to know they will see her again. Lynn arrived on this earth September 8th 1940, daughter to Dorothy Spaulding and Bob Baxter, she was later adopted by Step father Ray Spaulding. She grew up in Wautoma and as a young woman and moved to Oshkosh. Lynn married the one man who loved her all her life here on earth, Dennis Diemel. They married on February 5th 1966. They have 2 children Debbie Johnson, and Mark Diemel . Lynn worked at various places such as Lenox Candle, Universal Foundry, Aza Freight, and Oshkosh Bgosh, after which she retired. Dennis and Lynn opened there home to foster adults and sponsored many in need of homes. The real passion of Lynns life was Jesus Christ and her family. She loved to tell others of the great love Jesus has for them and how He died on the cross for their personal forgiveness and eternal life. Lynn would talk with anyone who would listen about Jesus; her driving compassion was to tell you of the wonderful love Jesus has for you. She loved to attend bible studies and read her bible. She was a strong prayer warrior and would unselfishly stand with others who needed help and prayer. For Dennis and Lynns 25th wedding anniversary she was granted by God, her first missions trip to Honduras, where they built a church. Lynn was involved with many outreaches for God. She was also President of the diabetes asst. in the 1970s, head of the court watch in 1990 and on the board for anti-pornography organization. She also was on the board for the learning disabilities of Oshkosh. Lynn leaves behind husband Dennis, Debbie (Bob) Johnson of Berlin, Mark Diemel of Oshkosh, grandchildren Katie and Jennie Nichols of Berlin, Dylan and Sydnie Johnson of Berlin, step granddaughters Fritzi (Justin) Matthews of Wis. Rapids and Kristin (Cory) Ruhl of Oshkosh; also 5 great step grand kids; her sister Gail (Dave) Schwersenska of Wautoma and brother in law Roger (Rose) Diemel, sister in law Susie (Mark) Goodacre and many nephews. Visitation will be Thursday May 31st, 2012 from 9am to 11 am. Funeral service will be at 11 am. It will be at Plymouth Congregational Church 1325 Georgia St. Oshkosh. A memorial has been established. We would like to say a special Thank You to the staff at Bethel homes and Bella Vista for the care and compassion and love you showed mom and our family. You went beyond what needed to be done and we THANK YOU for that. God Bless You All.
