Lynn E. Matuszczak, age 74, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Evergreen with his family by his side. He was born on November 16, 1941 to Aloysius and Iris (Allen) Matuszczak in Antigo. Lynn married Sandy Paulus. She preceded him in death on October 8, 2010.He graduated from high school and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Lynn was the owner of Harrison Bar and also was a certified electrician. He was also very active in the Boy Scouts of America for many years as Scout Master for troop 624.He is survived by his children: Joel (Becky) of Mexico, Mike Matuszczak of Oshkosh, and Jodi (Robert) McGrath of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren: Hannah, Kevin, Rosa, Jacob, Julianna, Natalie, and Noellia; and brothers: Marv (Elsie) and Roger Matuszczak. He is further survived by sister in law: Linda Mathe; brother in law: Dave Paulus; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Sandy; sisters: Jean Matuszczak, Lola Tappa, Peggy Matuszczak, and Nancy Schuster; brother in law: Michael Mathe; and mother and father in law: LaVerne and Carlton Paulus.A celebration of life will be held for Lynn at Jansens Bar and Restaurant (344 Bowen St.) on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with full military honors being held at 4:00 p.m.The family would like to send a special thank you to Richard from Affinity Visiting Nurses, the staff at Evergreen, and Affinity Hospice Care.
