Lynn Kathleen Harron, age 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Eden Meadows in Oshkosh. She was born on September 13, 1948, in Oshkosh to the late Alward and Hazel (Rosanske) Abraham. Lynn was united in marriage to William Harron on November 8, 1974.
Lynn received her nursing degree from Mercy School of Nursing in 1973. She was the Director of Nursing at Bethel Home in Oshkosh as well as Head Administrator for many years. Lynn and William enjoyed spending their winters in Maui. She was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church as President of Church Council, various church committees, choir, and Stephen Ministries. Lynn was an extraordinary cook who loved cooking and baking for friends and relatives. She was in the Smear Card Club as a “so so” player. Lynn was a “Google Expert” who wasn’t afraid to google everything.
Lynn is survived by her brothers: Alan “Corky” (Karla) Abraham, Michael Abraham; stepson, William Harron Jr.; niece, Kathy (Paul) Kolell; nephews: Jeff (Julie) Abraham, Eric (Brenda) Abraham, Scott (Christa) Abraham, Todd (Rebecca) Abraham, Doug (Sue) Stowe; numerous cousins and boatloads of dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harron; parents, Alward and Hazel Abraham; sister, Judith (John) Stowe; and brother-in-law, John Stowe.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1860 Wisconsin Street, Oshkosh. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. A memorial has been established at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
