Lynn Marie Degroot

Lynn Marie DeGroot, age 34 of Oshkosh died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 26, 2011. She was born in Beloit, WI on June 6, 1976, the daughter of Rick Gohde and Teresa (Petzrick) Rubino. Lynn married her high school sweetheart Carl DeGroot on August 12, 1995 in Alma Center, WI.Lynn had worked at Bemis Company for several years and was a student at Gill-Tech Academy of Hair Design in Appleton.Lynn loved her children more than anything. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends, watching movies, listening to music, discussing conspiracy theories, styling hair and make-up, dressing up her car and expressing her opinion.Survivors include her husband, Carl DeGroot; three sons, Nikolas DeGroot, Dakota DeGroot and Prestin DeGroot; two daughters, Alexandria DeGroot and Bree DeGroot, all of Oshkosh; her father Rick (Shirley) Gohde, of Alma Center; her mother, Teresa (John) Rubino, of Oshkosh; her paternal grandmother, Rose Burlingame, of Neilsville; her maternal grandfather, Willie Petzrick, of Beloit; her brother, Theron T.J. Gohde USN, of Grayslake, IL; two nieces, Skyla Gohde and Keelieann Gohde, both of Bremerton, WA; BFF friends Dani Zanzinger, of Janesville and Carl (Pam) Hanker, of Alma Center; Aunt, Pamela Petzrick, of Beloit; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, William Bill Gohde and maternal grandmother, Anna Granny Petzrick.Funeral services will be held in Oshkosh at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr.) on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Karin Derenne officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM to the time of service.
