Mae Kramer

May 9, 1922 — April 28, 2012

Mae S. Kramer, 89, passed away, with her niece Mary and her husband Roger, and friends, Pat and Bruce by her side, at Aurora Medical Center on Saturday April 28, 2012 after a short illness. She passed from this life into the loving arms of her Lord. Mae was born on May 9, 1922 at the home of her parents, Henry and Ella (Wojahn) Schroeder. She attended elementary school and high school in Oshkosh. She received her teaching degree from the Oshkosh Teachers College and was employed as a 3rd grade teacher for the school districts of Oshkosh and Neenah. She also taught school in Ohio and California in her younger years. Those left to cherish Maes memory are her niece Mary (Roger) Conrad, grandnephews Nicholas and Jeremy Conrad all of Peoria, IL; her friends, Bruce and Pat Butkiewicz of Oshkosh and Brian Heyer of Greenville; and many of her teacher friends, that still meet for a monthly luncheon. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Lorna Grancorbitz, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be missed by all who have known her. Mae will be celebrating her 90th birthday in Heaven. Maes funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church (1206 Ontario St. Oshkosh), Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. I have fought the good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith, II Timothy 4:7. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her memory. Please make any donations to the Mae Kramer Memorial Fund.
