Magdaline Anna Kistner

Magdaline Anna Kistner, 89 of Oshkosh, died at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation on Thursday, February 22, 2007. She was born in Sheboygan on July 18, 1917, a daughter of Albert and Anna Klein Raabe. Magdaline married Louis Kistner on September 14, 1940 in Sheboygan. Louis preceded her in death on September 9, 1990.Magdaline along with her husband owned and operated the Keg Tavern in Oshkosh. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She was active at the Oshkosh Senior Center, and enjoyed arts and crafts.Survivors include a son, Thomas Kistner, Oshkosh; a daughter, Jo Ann (Scott) Kossow, Greenfield, WI; a sister Bernice (Ed) Mervar, Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Daniel Novotny, West Allis, Katherine (Nick) Gillies, Chicago, IL, Mark (Lisa) Kistner, Albuquerque, NM, Christina Kistner, Perth, Australia; a great grandson, Jayzen Kistner, Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Timm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at St. Peter Catholic Church (435 High Ave.) at 10:00 AM. with Rev. Robert Stegmann as celebrant. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to the time of Mass. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Sheboygan.
