Marc A. Winter, 36, of Oshkosh passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 28, 2005 at home after a short illness. Marc was born on March 4, 1969 in Oshkosh the son of Donald and Suzanne Winter. Marc was a graduate of Oshkosh North High School in 1987 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he was a member of the ROTC. He was employed at Bemis Tape, Oshkosh at the time of his death. Previous to working at Bemis Tape, Marc worked in other Bemis/Curwood facilities in Oshkosh and New London. Marc enjoyed shooting sports, was a member of several shooting clubs, and received many trophies for his shooting. He was a enthusiastic hunter and fisherman, and the proud owner of his dogs, Ranger and Spook. Marc is survived by his parents, Donald and Suzanne, Oshkosh; two sisters, Debbie (Ron) Graff, Oshkosh, Karen (Keith) Pierce, Muskego; and a brother, Michael (Kim) Winter, Oshkosh. Marc is also survived by nieces and nephews, Alexis Graff, Shell Rock, IA, Catherine and Olivia Graff, Oshkosh, Kristin, Kyle, and Kelsey Pierce, Muskego, and Devin and Carley Winter, Oshkosh, aunts, uncles, and other relatives. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 3, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-East, Rev. Walter Moll officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Tigerton, WI. A memorial has been established.
