Marcille May Heffernon

Marcille M. Heffernon, age 88, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2008, at her home in Rockwall, TX. She was born May 16, 1920, in Poy Sippi, WI to Kit Carson Peck and Mollie Lydia Sperring Peck. She met her future husband, John (Jack) Heffernon at a dance she attended with her father. They married on December 26, 1937 and enjoyed 64 years together before John went to his heavenly home on July 22, 2001. Marcille was devoted to her home and family, helping John with his painting business and rental properties. They enjoyed bowling on leagues together in their younger years and eating at Jeffs on Rugby every Friday night. They enjoyed traveling to visit family and spending time at their cabin in Neshkoro. Her time in Rockwall was spent enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren, sitting by a pool with her cats and special times at church with her friends. She is survived by sons: Ron Heffernon and wife Karen of Oshkosh, Lee Heffernon and wife Nancy of Madison, Ed Heffernon and wife Cyndy of Winneconne, and Tom Heffernon and wife Sally of Moneta, VA; daughters Sherry Heffernon of Oshkosh and Marcie Krieger of Rockwall, TX; sister Marge Klepp of Oshkosh; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son and his wife, Gordy and Joyce Heffernon, a sister, and four brothers. Memorial services for Marcille will be held Friday May 23, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, Rev. Ed Demler officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 1 PM until the service. Inurnment will be at the Welsh Cemetery, Berlin, WI.
